The Sheffield Nature Network would like to invite you to our
Peaks and City Takeover on March 20-22nd.
The weekend will include:
A screening of the critically acclaimed Project Wild Thing, along with a unique introduction and Q&A session, in partnership with Film Unit.
Tickets £2.50 from the SU Box Office, or included with your weekend ticket.
Friday, 7:30pm
A series of workshops covering outreach, careers in conservation and a variety of other topics, along with a free lunch!
Saturday, from 2pm
Give back to the city with conservation tasks in Sheffield's green spaces, in partnership with local community groups.
Saturday, from 9am
Renowned scientist and writer James Borrell will be speaking to us on the topic "Backyard to the Back of Beyond: Tales of a Roving Scientist".
Tickets £3.50, or included with your weekend ticket.
Saturday, 7pm
Rewarding conservation tasks in the serene Peak District, at Blacka Moor Nature Reserve.
Sunday, from 9am
We'll be making the most of the weekend with informal socials, to unwind after each day.
Friday and Saturday evening
We'll say goodbye to each other with a reception on Sunday. Expect food and photos from the weekend.
